CDP Chef de Partie

As a CDP you will oversee a section of our cold kitchen or the pastry section

Key responsibilities:

  • Preparing, cooking and presenting dishes as per your specialty
  • Managing and training any demi-chef de parties or commis working with you
  • Helping the sous chef and head chef to develop new dishes and menus
  • Ensuring you and your team have high standards of food hygiene and follow the rules of health and safety
  • Monitoring portion and waste control to maintain profit margins

 

Commi 1

The Commis position is responsible for preparing and servicing all food items according to the production standards established by the Executive Chef. You will be reporting to the Chef de Partie and/or Sous Chef.

Key responsibilities

  • Assisting other chefs in the kitchen
  • Helping with deliveries
  • Measuring ingredients
  • Preparing vegetables and meats
  • Assisting with stock rotation
  • Training and Learning
  • Cleaning Stations

Administration & HR Executive

A very important position in our organization where you will manage the role for social sciences, business administration, human resources, communications, and management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Be the first point of contact for all HR-related queries
  • Administer HR-related documentation, such as contracts of employment
  • Ensure the relevant HR database is up to date, accurate and complies with legislation
  • Assist in the recruitment process
  • Liaise with recruitment agencies
  • Set up interviews and issue relevant correspondence
  • Manage office supplies stock and place orders
  • Prepare regular reports on expenses and office budgets
  • Maintain and update company databases
  • Organize a filing system for important and confidential company documents
  • Answer queries by employees and clients
  • Update office policies as needed
  • Maintain a company calendar and schedule appointments
  • Book meeting rooms as required
  • Distribute and store correspondence (e.g. letters, emails and packages)
  • Prepare reports and presentations with statistical data, as assigned
  • Arrange travel and accommodations
  • Schedule in-house and external events

 

Business Development Executive

As a business development executive you are a senior manager tasked with the job of helping the business grow.

Key responsibilities

  • Researching organizations and individuals online (especially on social media) to identify new leads and potential new markets
  • Researching the needs of other companies and learning who makes decisions about purchasing
  • Contacting potential clients via email or phone to establish rapport and set up meetings
  • Planning and overseeing new marketing initiatives
  • Attending conferences, meetings, and industry events
  • Preparing PowerPoint presentations and sales displays
  • Contacting clients to inform them about new developments in the company’s products
  • Developing quotes and proposals
  • Negotiating and renegotiating by phone, email, and in person
  • Developing sales goals for the team and ensuring they are met
  • Training personnel and helping team members develop their skills

 

Marketing & Activation Executive

The primary role of the Brand Activation Specialist is to assist the Business Development efforts by planning marketing efforts and creating content and engaging materials and experiences that can be used to generate interest from potential clients and help retain existing clients.

Key responsibilities

  • Manage Product communication across the organization including creating excitement around new product/feature launches, channeling product feedback and managing issue resolution.
  • Represent Brand proposition externally and internally. Evangelize customers, partners and participate at conferences.
  • Drive transformational brand solution sales through leveraging and developing relevant content and competition.
  • Develop, leverage and deploy regional and local Brand solutions to upscale sales teams to approach clients with multi-faceted media propositions.
  • Ensure competitive perspectives and differentiated value propositions generated through market-relevant insights. Using knowledge of the market and competitors, identify and develop unique selling propositions and differentiators.
  • Run presence on social networks and manage newsletters.
  • Attend, present on and man the booths on industry functions, such as association events and conferences, and provide feedback and information on market and creative trends.
  • Present to and consult with mid and senior level management on business trends with a view to developing new content and marketing engagements.
  • Identify opportunities for campaigns that will lead to an increase in sale
